So, I have a 55G and was thinking of putting a cat or two in there. Current occupants are a 11'' and 9'' common plec. I was thinking of adding maybe, a trio of raphaels? I was also thinking of adding an albino BN plec, and possibly some yo-yo loaches?
Does this sound good to you?
Any help would be grealty apreciated. I just want some nice fish to put in with my common plecs, I was thinking of doing a senegal bicher or two, but I really like Raphael cats. :)

Raphael's are great slow growing cats, they would be a good addition, unfortunately they have a tendency to hide a lot, so depending on the decor you may not see them much.

raphaels hide alot or too much. :(
i'd go with the loaches.
plus raphaels that are not kept in large numbers tend to scrap.

I think I might do... say, 6 yo-yo's. I really want to add a polypterus, but I dont want the plecos to try and eat his slime coat. For top/mid level movement I'm getting some Roktiel sevs.

sounds good but a little boreing the severums and yoyos will help but you might need more activeity i'd say go for those fish and mabye a few fast moveing catfish like pictus

tanks pretty close to stocked how ever big plecos make a large bio load
