i will soon have an empty 55 gallon tank and im looking to make it a one fish tank what im askign is some suggestions of what fish i should get that a 55 gallon will be suitable for

start out with 3 jv rd.and when u find that one is a female get rid of the others.Or if u are sure u have bought a female get one.Trust me u would love these fish they are one the top agressive cichlids belive it or not with a nasty attitude but they develop a bond with their owner.

I would say a wolf ciclid but i dont think a 55 gallon is big enough, maybe go with a jaguar

rd's are bad ass and cost close to nothing down here(i actually caught my female). they are agressive especially when she lays eggs she attacks anything even the algae scrubber stick...shes broken two... (R.I.P. my poor "octavia")
