What do you guys think will go good with 2 discus in a 55 gal? I was thinking 2 angels 12 tetras and 4 german blue rams. Any ideas? I want the tank to be stunning and have a great looking community. Do you think this will work? And ill consider any recomendations. I want this tank to be stunning remember. Or maybe some dwarf plecos.

I didnt knw they rnt good together... Ill do 2 discus and 4 german rams and maybe some dwarf plecs then

the problem is disc scare to ez and need hiding placed and they also like it dark the tetras are a peaceful fish so ther ok

What about these stock plans

2 discus
10 cardinal tetras
3 bumble bee cats

if its the South American bumblebee cats it may work.
South American will stay around 4" and be more passive then the asian
because tha will show aggression to smaller fish

I'd go with your original stocking plan, looks pretty good to me. Except I'd add a bristlenose or three, or a few otocinclus if you can find them cheap where you live.

I keep angels and discus together with no problems. Only took my discus about 2 weeks to assert himself over the angels. If you're worried, get your discus first and let them establish themselves in the tank and/or grow a bit before you add the angels. One way or another just make sure the discus are bigger than the angels when they're added. I'd get the angels at a small size. They grow quick and it's satisfying to watch them go from the size of your thumb to the size of your hand.

Ok ill stick with original plans

I review the price of discus and there rlly pricy considering im 15 and jobless for the moment. So imma stock 2 angels, 4 german blue rams, 11 snails, 5 akysis vespa, 12 tetras(probably cardinals). And if you have any other suggestions of nice fish let me.

Final stocking plan:

4 angels
4 german blue rams
12 tetas(cardinal)
6 akysis vespa
11 snails
