So here goes.

I am am completely addicted to bichirs. One of my favorite fish. Almost nothing tops them:headbang2

So... I was thinking of getting a bichir dedicated tank (55-65 gallons) and putting two bichirs such as a sengal and a dehlzi in the tank together along with a group of Lepoard Ctenpomas.
How would this work?
Could I put more bichirs in?
Do sengals and dehlzis get along (i'm guessing they do, but just want to be sure)?
Nobody gets eaten?

Also what is another very hardy fish that goes along well with bichirs? I preffer one that comes from africa as I'd like to make an african tank only.

i've kept delhezi and ornatipinnis together in a 125 gal along with other fish and they just ignored each other all the time, no aggro whatsoever so you should be fine, one other thing my del used to swim in midwater alot except when eating and resting so maybe they kept out of each others way because of that:) :) :) :) :)

if the 65 is 36x18 get that tank its always better to have the wider foot print... I have kept endlicheri, ornates, delhezi, palmas and senegal all of different sizes mixxed together at the same time in same tank what ever other fish you add just make sure it can't fit in the bichirs mouth ;)

Just so you know the list you gave should work fine but theres no guarnatee
its really going to depend on the agression level of the bichirs I have had mellow happy go lucky bichirs and I have had a very agressive bichirs-Anne
