alright so i wann turn my barebottom 55 into a planted tank what i wanna do is take all the fish out put em in a temp 35 drain the water halfway and use black dirt like 2 inches ? what do you guys think ??
personally, i would use Eco-complete or ADA aqua-soil, as opposed too..dirt. however, DIY plant Substrate is also a very good option. i would do some searching on that one!
