need some help. Right now I have my heart set on
1 Senegal
4 pictus

I murdered the tank with filitration having 2 400gph filters for a 75 I have another bio filter in there and plenty of bubble supply

I have a 55 long and am looking at something that would really pop out with color but wouldn't hurt the other fish. I am currently cycling the tank and it has nothing in it yet . If you have any other suggestions with community or semi aggressive fish lemme know I'm pretty open but would like to keep the ones I listed above. NOTHIN too small

Someone said no senegals I was gonna do two but I'd be happy with one and some BA colorful centerpeices

I would disagree with whomever told you that. Captive bred Polypterus Senegalus don't really get all that big, certainly not nearly as big as pet smart advertises on their little inaccurate information cards. I think they say they get like 18" lol

I don't know what you mean by "BA", do you mean blue acara?

In my experiences Senegalus compete for food quite well with cichilds, it can be a problem with other species of Polypterus. I've mixed them with cichlids before, is that something you're interested in?

tlindsey tlindsey is a Senegal guru-way more than me. And the master himself J jaws7777

Depends on how many senegalus you want to get. I don't honestly know if Poly's are compatible with pictus either.
