ok i have a 55 i want to stock.
The tank will be up for sale (in the future) so the fish will need to be easy to keep (if a newbie) buys it. The tank consists of 50lb of play sand, some decor and Marineland H.O.T. Magnum 250 Canister Filter, heater and stock lights.

I am think about getting 4 jewel cichlids while the pet store near me still has them on sale (buy 1 at 2.49 2nd for .01). I can work around this or go a different route. The only qualifications is/are that the fish are cheap and easy to take care of and easy to sell.

If you want easy you could go for livebearers such guppies, platies or mollies or you could go for a Convict Cichlid. I'm not sure about keeping jewel cichlids, i don't have any experience with them.

Size + Beginner Friendly = Maybe a Flowerhorn because they look pretty good, get big and easy to care for.
Convicts get up to 6" so I think thats alright. Maybe a black ghost knife fish? I had one before and it was easy to care for and get from 16-20".
