55 to 75?

Ok I have a dual 55gallon stand and I'm wondering about putting a 75 on the bottom instead but the width is the problem.

The stand is a metal stand kinda like this


I'm wondering if I can take a 2x3 and put it in the front of the 75 and put a piece of 7/16" OSB board or ply and then use a 75 on the stand. Tacky as hell I know but it will work for me.

I would simply add a piece of cut wood on top of the tank that is the dimensions of the tank.

Think I could do it without the wood under? and just the 2x3 in front? Or would that be pushing it?

Ok so I've been thinking about doing this with the tank on top instead but I'm worried about a couple things mainly a little bit of over hang.
This would be with OSB not plywood another possible concern. But it will be doubled up 2 sheet of 19/32". Totaling 1 1/4"
