hi i have a 55g demasoni / yellow lab tank its stock is 12 demasoni and 6 yellows and 1 hybrid male peacock and yesterday i took out the only plant that was in the tank to make it look more natural it was a xl plant and now the fish are chaseing each other more than they were and i have a few hideing at the top do u think they will ajust or should i put the plant back

You want to put it back. Not only does it offer a good hide spot but it allows the fish being chased to break the line of sight from the fish that is chasing. This will help I believe there is a sticky in the rift lake forum thay will help aswell. GL

Something to break the line of vision might reduce the fighting. Do you have lots of rocks and caves? They can help as well. Regularly rearranging the aquascaping can help as well.

What kind of other items do you have in your aquascape? What sizes are the fish in the tank?
I had a 90 gallon tank full of yellow labs and demasoni with about 300lbs of holy rock. There was a TON of caves and hiding spots. I've never had a problem of being too agressive, then again I did change up the rockscape at least once a month just to keep it fresh.
