Thinking about buying another Rena XP3 as I love the one I'm using on my fiancee's turtle tank. Just curious if one XP3 is enough to sufficiently filter my 55g stocked with 3 juvenile ebjd's and a few small tetra's. I have two aquaclear 70's on there currently and the ultimate goal would be to get rid of both of them and get the canister. I'd keep one running for now and seed the xp3 with media from the other. Any input is appreciated.

personally I like the 2 ac70's setup ,but yes you could do that..... KEEP BOTH AC70'S RUNNING ,while the xp seeds this will insure a smooth transition... ps...your better off filtration wise to keep one AC running after the xp seeds ,this will give you good"overkill" filtration
I like them to, was just considering alternatives as I really like spray bars, but they do their jobs well.
