55g mini monsters?

So, I have a 55g freshwater tank that I'm going to set up as a mini monster tank. I already have a sengalus, a juvie fire eel and an ABK.

I'm wandering if I can add anything else, and if so, I'd love some suggestions.

I'm not a fan of cichlids or gouramis (sp?). So ,other than african butterflies (I have a couple in another tank) what would make good tank mates, especially higher water level swimmers?
 
u can do a suncatfish and the fire eel will need a bigger tank when its 17"...

Oh, and BTW Severums, I'm just growin' out the Fire Eel for my uncle's 240.
 
Anyone know how a Leporinus Fasciatus would fair withthe stock I have in mind?
