55G new: babies with Adults

New 55G setup: older filters though.

Have 5 baby Peacock 1" or so, but want to add some adults for instant enjoyment....

any problems?

Yep, as a growout its fine for a little while but a very large tank is needed to keep them for life.

1 inch is too small a size for any meaningful large fish as companions.

Maybe some community fish just realize they will be eaten when bass put on some size.

I won't comment on post grow out; I am sure you have your plans.

Peacock Bass are cichlids too but I think you are right.
