55 gallon Oceanic Aquarium with oak wood cabinet and canapy, includes some accessories. $225 OBO. We purchased it new several years ago and can no longer take care of it. Still looks great.

Edit.. Has a Fluval 303 attached..

I have purchased 3 x 55 Gallon tanks on CL within the past year...

#1- Tank & Stand $60
#2- Tank, Stand, Tops, Lights $90
#3- Tank, Stand, Canister Filter $90

And in my area I see CL ads where people list 55 Gallons for $150-$200 regularly. Meaning if you're looking for a deal then wait for it, for it shall come :D

NO DEAL, way to much. I got a 75g setup with filters off CL for $150

Oceanic tanks and stands are nicer than All-Glass, Perfecto and other similar tanks in that price range... so it may be priced right.

You need to look at it and compare things like fit, trim, silicone, construction and finish of the stand, etc.

However, if you're just looking for a tank setup and these things aren't factors, then you could probably do better elsewhere.

too much...

I'd never pay more than $150 for a 55g w/stand. People can be as descriptive as they want with their ads, but its STILL A 55G.

Yes, but there are big differences between a solid oak stand and canopy and a pressboard or pine board stand thats stapled together. Big differences in tank quality too.

If you're not interested in those things then go with something less expensive.

offer 150 .. and be done with it.. people on CL highball because they think there crap is worth more then it is..

there was a write up on here yest. about why people try to charge what they do.. it was a nice read..
