So, psyched, just re-did my 55g Malawi tank with Lace rock. Initially had some Texas Holey Rock but slowly became empty so I'm super happy with the new look & rock! Took me most of the day to get it how I wanted, also added eggcrate to the tank. I'm exhausted but wanted to share. This is the first time I've gotten my tank to look like the beautiful tanks I've seen in videos, so I'm really happy I put in the time.

(sorry the pics are a little blurry)

1st pic is the before and the last 3 are the after:

sweet...
how much did you spend on the lace rock? i'm considering it as well.

I paid about $200 ($130 for rock/ $70 for shipping) for 80lbs. I got it from here: https://www.azgardens.com/p-755-aag-lace-rock.aspx.

Took a little bit too get but it's nice rock, I had to give it a good wash and scrub over. Everything seems fine, I'll keep an eye on the water params and fish over the next few days.

I've honestly never been so happy with the look of my tank and I've been through lots of different variations.

OMG Thank you I have been looking for a Arizona State based aquarium supply:headbang2
Everything seems to be in Florida or California and shipping is killing me!

edit: SWEET setup dude I just ordered some lace rock from azgardens (the 6 pack) for my new 55g.

No prob, I was happy I found them too and I'm out-of-state. I could never get such nice rock from anywhere around here.

FYI, I ordered the 24-piece and 6-piece and it worked out perfect for my tank.
