55g sen tank mate help

hi i just started stocking my 55g tank. i have 5 giant danios , and i just bought a senegal bichir about 3 inch .

my danios are monsters they eat everything i put in there ghost shrimp , red worms, small feeders , flakes . my sen is so small he eats ghost shrimp when he catchs them , small red worms , pieces of shrimp .

i would like to add maybe 1 more sen bichir and a juvie jag he is prob 2 inch at the most . i like to watch my fish hunt . my bichir runs the shrimp out rocks and the danios are like hounds run them down lol .

any suggestions thanks . im trying to buy small so toward the end of the year i can upgrade tanks .

another senegal would be fine but i'd probably avoid the jag, they grow pretty quick and get huge, and if you ended up not being able to upgrade for whatever reason you'd have a problem - plus if you like the giant danios the jag will outgrow and eat them within a year i'd think

if i were you i'd get another sen and then go with a smaller cichlid than the jag, a severum could be great with your set-up
