55g stocking Semi Aggressive cichlids!

I just got a new 55g tank and i wanna set it up as a semi aggressive cichlid community....here were my ideas:
4 firemouths
1 convict
1 jewel
........................ I am looking for a nice setup of cichlids that wont kill eachother...any other cichlids i could add? and also could i add some red tailed sharks?

The convict and the jewel are going to cause problems. Ports, festivum, almost any geophagus, severum, and keyholes are a few that could get along together.

My own personal word of warning, I have a Redtailed Black Shark right now and I had him in with; 1 lrg Frontosa, 1 small Synspilia, 1 small Guttulatum, 1 med Pearsei, 1 med Lyonsi, and 1 med Severum.

The Shark chased all of them but the Front.... He is an absolute pr_ck. I took him out of that tank and thew him in with my Pike and Midas. He then went after my Midas but got a lesson learned. LOL He isn't all that mean now.. LOL

Also consider a Lyonsi or maybe an Acara? Not 100% on how big the Acara gets but I think should/would work?..
