Hey guys we recently upgraded one of our sw tanks and i was given this 55g to do with as i please
so i havent done one in a long time so i decided to do a decent community tank. We have always only had little 10-30g community tanks because all our bigger tanks have been for cichlids. So ill be updating this as i go along. Today i drained all the sw out and removed the stinky crushed coral. My house was beginning to smell like low tide and this tank is next to the dinner table so not pleasant. I have toddlers running around so i couldnt scoop it into a bucket on the floor because they would be elbow deep in pooey gravel in two minutes and our only free bucket was taken so i had to MacGyver this bucket. So this is the progress so far.
