So, my 55g, due to some deaths and some future moving of fish, will be lacking some fish soon. The current stock is:
1x Crenicichla sp. Venezuela
1x Polypterus Delhezi
1x Xenomystus Nigri (African Black Knifefish)
1x Erpetoichthys Calabaricus (Ropefish)
However, ther delhezi and crenicichla are both going to be moved into a 120g within a month or two, which leaves the 55g frightfully empty. I need some stocking suggestions as to what I should do. Here are the only guidelines:
Needs to not be too aggressive .
Not too common, I like oddballs and rare fish.
That's about it...
Any suggestions are welcome.

Here are some of the fish I'm considering:
African Mudfish
Butis Butis
Red Wolffish
Tetraodon Miurus (Too aggressive?)

Senegals are the most common bichir, but they're still pretty cool. They get along fine with African Brown Knives. Zigzag eels fit the bill too.

I will more than likely be keeping sens in my 120g. :D
As for zigzags, that's not a bad idea. I'll have to think about it.
Any other suggestions?

I don't know if red-HF-wolves can be considered 'not too aggressive'. Don't know much about the other two on your list. Since you'll already have a 120 g with bichirs, have you thought about turning your 55g brackish? That would open all sort of oddball possabilities: gobies, acher fish, puffers ect

Or even mudskippers. You could have a nice colony of mudskippers in a 55. They're not monsters size-wise, but they're utterly cool.

WTF is with all the brackish people? Why not just put all your fish in the 130g, and get a gulper cat or two in the 55? Now that's pretty much as oddball as it gets!
