Ive gotten a 55g from a friend for free about three days ago, this morning i went to install it in my room and i noticed a crack not on the glass but on the top plastic molding running downright in the middle divider, now i checked the glass very well and theres no cracks in that section, i was wondering if i should i just get rid of it or could i get away with it??? can fill it in with alot of silicone inside and out???? any advice i can get would be EXTREAMELY helpful thanx!!!

Any pics? My guess is that it would be ok. Take it out to the garage and fill er up, let it sit and see what happens.

if the glass dont have cracks you can get all glass silacone to repair it thats only if the silacone is what is cracked...

worst comes to worst, you have a decent sized reptile tank.

Get some Epoxy, I accidently broke the center beam on my old 55 before I sold it, an used Epoxy to secure it back in place. Tank holds water fine to.

Thanks alot guys!!!  im going to fill it u and leave it in the garage ove night if it holds up i im going to fill it with apoxy and if theres any dought in me after that well....... i guess ive always wanted a badass looking lizard :naughty::ROFL: any suggestions????
