I am going to get the 120gl tonight. Issue.

I brought home a 55gl in my Pontiac Grand Prix with no issues. (it was in the box still even) It just fit length wise in my car! If I can take my car I will save A LOT of gas going to get this beast, compared to my stepmothers Avalanche!

The 120gl is 4x2x2

From what I read on the net the 55gl is 48" standard as well in length?

If this is the case the 120gl should fit in my car like the 55gl did, just a foot wider or so and that is fine in the backseat.

I think it would ride better then in the back of a pickup for a hour too.

What do you think?

Put the front passenger seat as far up as you can, and if possible, lean it all the way forward, should work fine. Also, if your Grand Prix had a fold-down rear seat (so it goes directly to the trunk), you can slide it in on it's side, and push it forward. Should be fine.

hmm just thought about this issue, is the door at least 24" wide to get it in LOL

If the trunk wall can fold down, it'll work! If in doubt, use the Avalanche. Better a safe tank and some money spend on gas than a broken expensive tank, and an extra $50.

I don't think you'll get it in there. Maybe if you take the passenger seat out (and if it's a 2 door). Otherwise, no way.

It is a 4door

I just went out and measured.

Towards the bottom of the back door (where the seat sticks out the most past the door frame) I have 28" :D

Now with the door all the way open I have 3 1/2 feet from the car door to the car. Worried about turning it to get it in. We couldnt just put it straight in I dont think

screw it, taking pick up. off I go lol YAY!!!

Good choice...lol

As someone whose transported a lot of tanks, you would NOT have gotten it in there. We have a grand marquis and they have tons of room in the back seat. A 55g fits with plenty of room but it's trouble getting a 75g in there much less a 120g.

LOL One last thaught...even in the off chance it might have fit there's no way you could have handled that much weight in such an odd location.
