56 gallon tank

i was at my lfs and they had a 56 gallon tank they called it a column it was almost a perfect sqaure instead of rectangle what could i stock in this that would be comfortable im looking for one fish in it something beautiful and amazing that will wow people any suggestions

Tetras , Barbs , Rams , small catfish , Corys , small Gouramis , Guppies , Mollies , Platys , Rasboras , Swordtails , Hatchet Fish , Loaches .

Some others i cannt thik of off the top of my head .

Jack Dempsey. they have beautiful coloring and get pretty big too.

ok thnkyou i had a jack thatwas beautiful but was to rough on my oscars would a one flowerhorn be ok and all the ones i see are rather bland and dull why is this
