ok all we should be moving to the new apartment in end of october. there is a chance we will be on the second story, im not sure if it is wood floors or concrete im assuming concrete as its a large complex. do you think the 36" 58 gallon will be ok on the second story , il get pics of the whole build posted soon also thanks so much

58 gallons will be fine. Nothing to worry about.

ok thanks alot for the reply thats what i was thinking some peoples china cabinets are heavier than this tank lol

I will be moving a 180gallon and getting a 90 gallon in my new apartment the first of the year. and i asked them if i could have a fish tank on the second story. they did not kow what to say when i told them it was 180 gallons so i then asked if i could have a water bed and they said no problem. So we agreed that they did not care. Ask about a water bed.

hmmm i wasnt gunna ask at all lol were paying a pet deposit for the cats anyway, the only concern i have if we end up on the second floor is that i resealed this tank myself and used a piece of 1/4" 5"x8" glass to plate off the overflow holes. i did it correctly proper prep and cleaning and used ge1 silicone i have plenty of confidence in my work but its still in the back of my mind id be happier on the bottom floor incase of a leak
tank has been filled in garage with fish for around a month now tho so i dont think i should worry
