5foot tank stock??

Hi all i am wondering if a female gt, female con female salvini and a male jd can live in a 5 foot 100gallon tank??

if you keep aggression low you could. I would personaly do a mix of peaceful cichlids or 1 large cichlid.

Will be fine for a while but just watch the jack as they can be crazy sometimes.

What about as an alternative having two male cichlids so that they can claim half of the tank each and then add a few other fish non cichlids?

i already have the female con, gt and sal in my 75 and getting the 100 gallon to replace the 75 just wondering what else i can put in with the females

Ya i think the agresor would be the jd, changing to a female might help but you could still have problems check first thing evry mornin and be prepared to have to seperate some fish

hmmmm seems like a jd would be a real hit or miss. what other cichlids would you guys recommend?

I've kept a larger jd with smaller grow outs. He never bothered them or attempted to eat the ones he could. I agree with jds being hit or miss. If your set on a jd get a blue gene or Ebjd they tend to be less aggressive as standard jds.
