So, got bored today went through some equipment laying around and ended up setting up a 5G with AC110 :screwy:. I'm sure its been done before(MFK filtration) but I was wondering what to stock and will it work? I was thinking small pleco anyhow heres a pic for your time and would some type of plant or moss grow? never did the plant thing yet...

wow, that is going be an insane amount of flow for a 5 gallon, honestly not sure if that will work. thinking the flow will be too much but i am sure someone else will chime in

I think even with your flow limited you'll still blow around anything you put in there. The 110 is 100 gph, right?

It's worth a shot but if you see any fish struggling to stay in one place, I'd replace it.

I had tried this a while back for a feeder tank and there ended up being a huge current within the tank though to be fair the tank was bare so the shrimp and feeders were struggling and flying all over the place. I believe the filter was a 40-50g filter too.

There is a lot of water getting pushed but maybe there is a small fish that likes or maybe needs this movement? What I'm noticing though and is worrying me is the heater is always on probably because of the water movement. I doubt any plants would make in a fast flowing river :nilly:but i will surf the site a little more (going fishing early 2morrow) for an answer.
