I have just bought a 5'x20"x26" tank and would value opinions on stock choice for it.

I have a pair of green terrors that will be going in it other than that any other fish are yet to be bought, my wish list are bellow and I'm interested to hear opinions on this.

A medium sized snakehead (the mrs loves them and was gutted when we found her old blehiri dried up on the floor after work on day!) obscura!? Any recommendations?

Polypterus Delhzi

Hepsetus Odoe or a couple of Aces

some sort of med catfish ideas?

The snakehead is a big priority as the mrs loves them, I'm also really keen on the idea of the odoe or aces as have always wanted them. The others are just cool fish that I like the idea of as tankmates.

Well the snake will probably try to kill any stock you put in with it. Plus a pair of gts will probably kill all of your stock in that tank. Now you know the possible risks you could fit a delhenzi in there. Salvini? 4 line pim is a nice catfish Max about 8-10" and can hold their own against aggressive fish. Raphael catfish although you won't see them very often.

I need to spark up my fish life

Yea the green terrors as a pair are a worry, I have been breeding them for the last couple of years in their own but now want a nice predator display tank, as far as cichlids go these two are pretty wimpy apart from when they have a spawn

I could get a chana gaucha as they are pretty peaceful but recon they are ultimately to small and would become food, have seen a few vids on YouTube of some snakeheads mixed with other predators but not sure which species they were?

i'd say a pack of red tail payara and some bichirs.
