5x3x2 build help needed

i want to try a diy tank. im looking for something with a nice foot print 5 or 6 foot long 30-36" wide and 20-24" tall. im thinking my best bet will be glass. thinking 1/2" thick. will i need any top bracing for this size and thickness?

I just got a 6x30x2 1/2 inch all around except the bottom is 1 inch thick which I was told by the manufacturer is due to the 30 inch width. I have a center brace and thin bracing on each side. I'l het pics when i get home. It took seven strong guys to move this tank into my house so it will be very heavy.

I bought it from a small manufacturing place in Los Angeles. It' a mom and pop shop thats been building custom tanks for years

First pic is center brace, 2nd pic is right side brace, 3rd pic is left brace, the brace also are a good spot for the lids.
