Look under the gobie and you can see mine that is the same size...this is what they look like in the books I have.

His Livingstonii is a male and shows the blue color like that on the face I have owned some before like that. yours looks more like a female.

females stay the color of the fry, males get blue and lots of metallic colors, in all Nimbochromis species that I'm aware of
