There is a LFS store have listed a "6 Bar Dat" ....I was just woundering if this a new name or something they called differently depending on location.

It doesn't look like an Indo to me. More like a thin bar. about 5-6" Asking way to much for it.

Just wanted to know if anyone hard of this before? and what is good price for 5-6" if it was a thin bar.

It's not a new name - It just a name LFS give to Dats when they don't know the real name. Most times it refers to Indos, but you never know with LFS.

some one told me it was thin bar. I have to go back and take a look at it then.

most likely a D. Polota aka AT, they also have the common name of 6 banded nandus, and many bar dat in japan and other places.

depends on how you count, including the eye stripe and tail stripes it can have six. some common names for the thinbar in LFS that ive seen are 3 banded/barred tiger or 4 banded/barred tiger. good luck w/ the ID!

Well if its gold it will be either a thin bar or indo, and luckily they are easy to tell apart.
