They were born sometime between 11am and 8 pm today :)

Mom have always been huge, I just figured she just eats a lot. I never really check for movement honestly.

Enjoy

WOW WOW WOW!!
Congratulations Stan.
Those are absolutely beautiful and my all time favourite rays, do we have a picture of the pair?
Watch the Astrophysus (Gulper), rays fold up and believe it or not can end up on the menu, these Gulpers can eat fish larger than themselves.
Absolutely made up for you, I get so excited when I see new born Hystrix, they do strange things to me lol !!

Congrats on the new litter.........

I just moved the pups to a 75 gallon grow out tank. I transfered 100% of birthing water to the 75 gallon to minimize shocks and all pups seems to be doing just fine.

Big thanks to Mike (Keepinfish) to guide me to moving them safely :)

I am about 95% sure of this LOL, I think I have 3 males and 3 females.

Is this your first litter of any species of rays?

Succesfully ? YES. I lost a female marble last year, she aborted and foul up the water. My wife was in the hospital after an unexpected trauma from a day surgery. I wasn't home for 3 days and didn't catch it in time.

Congrats, they look like a litter of lookers. Any pics of the parents?
