6 inch clown loach 40 dollars

Just wanted to let interested people know, family pet center in portland oregon has about 4 or 5 massive 6 inch clown loaches for 40 a piece. Unbelievable deal just had to post it

My lfs wanted 40 for a 4 inch tiger loach... I went to my other lfs and ordered some there. lol

I've had pretty good luck picking up clowns on Kijiji (Canada's craigslist) for way cheaper than pet store prices. I bought a group of 4", 6" and 7" for $60, and then a group of 4", 6", 7", 8", 10" plus a FX5 for $200. You just gotta check frequently and hope someone doesn't know what they're worth

I was there at that LFS yesterday afternoon. Picked up the fattest one which ended up being measured at 8" TL. The other two were probably a slender 6-6.5" and 7-7.5 or maybe 8" with severely damaged tail. Great price at $40 due to it being a trade in. Here is the blurry pic (double bagged/subdue lighting) during acclimation
