I have a 6" male Fossorachromis Rostratus I am thinking of selling. I have another male who is 8" that I bought about a year before the smaller one. They are both starting to color up nicely; to my disappointment (I was hoping for a M/F combo).
Unfortunately the larger one is starting to chase the smaller one, and before he did any damage, I moved him to a different tank. Being the only Fossie in the new tank, he really colored up. Unfortunately (I use that word a lot with Cichlids) he is a bit too aggressive for his laid-back 125G tank mates (Frontosa, Red Severum, Placidochromis phenochilus).
I was planning on taking him to the LFS. However, they are only accepting free fish. He is such a nice looking fish and could be easily be sold for ~ $50-100.
The LFS doesn't deserve this gift. Is anyone interested in buying him for $30? I live near the Plymouth Meeting exit of the PA Turnpike.
