6" Pike Hepsetus odoe with my 5" AFT

Hi all

I am planning on getting a 6" Pike to be housed with my aft, will this work, my lfs says it should be ok as long they are well fed.

I dont have personal experience with the pikes but from what I hear they are very aggressive. ATF's on the other hand are quit timid and dont do well getting picked on.

yeah i hear the same, but someone did mention if you add fish like bala sharks and tinfoils barbs or pink tail chara's at the same time this may reduce the aggresion and get the fish to shoal, wot do you think?

That would be better if you had all those dither fish. I had the pike and ATF at the same exact sizes and the pike beat the crap out of the ATF as soon as he laid eyes on it. ATF had deep gouges on both sides and soon after, he caught a BAD case of ick. He is fine now, but can still see the scars. If the ATF were maybe 2x the size, they might be ok.....or roles will reverse...
