There is a LFS next to me that has some glass tanks with 2 glass matching lids. Tank has a black
trim for 60.00ea (if I remember correct)

Is this a good price or an average price??

Im going to see if he can give MFK discounts??:naughty:

What gallons are the tanks?????Before the gas crisis, my store sold 55, 100, 165 for $1 per gallon.....Sheesh.....

What size is the tank? if it's a 10gal, then No. But, if it's bigger the a 55gal, then yes.

:screwy: Sorry, standard 60gl for 60-70bux

what is the average price for a new standard 60gl at a lfs?

Just the tank? More than $100 at some stores and a little less at others. A 29 Gallon starter kit goes for $120?

Alright, cool.

Im ganna try to see if they can give lower prices on the tanks. I think they have wood stands (plain wood color) that fit the 60gl for 70bux.

They are actually a pricey store but I guess they are trying to move them out??
I think there are 4-5 60gls for sale. They are in SoCal

So you are getting a 60 gal for $60 with glass lids? And a stand for 70? $130 for a tank and stand... Might want to hit up CL and get EVERYTHING and probably even fish for that much maybe a little more

:grinno:. I have a 300gl, just seen them at a lfs that I go to for feeders to feed the Armatus. The tank price is what cought my attention (for someone looking for a glass tank)

I would hit up CL first too. I've been seeing nice prices on tank set ups on there. I wish Christmas over with by now I would probably would have scooped one up by now. I just saw a 100 something gal. for $300 the other day with everything including wood top and cab.
