i feed him only once a day because he with some older tiger barbs and i dont want them getting fat. im feeding him nls algaemax and krill and mysis shrimp occasionally. finally showing some speckles.

Nice... forgive my ignorance, but what exactly is it? A texas of some sort?

Also, what would you estimate now, 2-3 inches? What's your water change schedule/filtration?

yeah it's a gold Jack demspey. He's about an inch and half now. Still very small. I change like 50-75% a week. It's a 20 gallon right now.
