I will likely be getting a 600 gallon in a few month's time. Well, not in a few months but I will be getting something large in a few months as a growout (probably a 75 and then into a 300 gallon stock tank - the plan is to set the 75 up as a growout, then a brackish tank; after the 300 gets grown out of, I'll set it up as a shark pond and move all the FW fish into a 600 plywood). Anyways, I don't really know what I want.

I was thinking something along the lines of:
-At least one gar (the cuban is my dream fish, maybe a cuban and a tropical; I'm not super rich though)
-1 or 2 rays (I don't think I'll be affording a black ray soon so motoros)
-Some bichirs
-An oscar
-A black arowana
-AT and NGT dats
-Niger catfish
-Orinoco peacock bass
-Giant gourami
-Banded leporinus
-Giraffe catfish
-Some silver dollars (not sure of an exact number)
-Possibly some other cichlids (uaru, geophagus, pike, and severums are my favorite)
-Hopefully one day a south american lungfish, super expensive fish though
-Maybe a clown knife or a red tail barracuda

Would this work out in a 96x48x30" tank?

I would get the tank before getting any large fish at all.

I'm going to get the 75 and the 300 gallon. They're letting me set up a 600 gallon (same exact tank size and everything) at my work so I'll have a place to move them if I absolutely need to (at least temporarily if I decide to sell them). Once they start to actually put on some size in the 300 gallon stock tank, I'll build the 600 gallon. Hopefully by the time it's cycled everyone will be a tiny bit smaller than they should be to go into the 600 gallon (at least some of them) so that I've got time to plan everything out.

In a 450 (1 foot thinner), would this work:
-Black arowana
-NGT and AT datnoid
-Cuban or tropical gar
-Giant gourami
-Oscar
-Ornate bichir
-Banded leporinus
-Orinoco pbass
-Niger catfish
-3 silver dollars
-Uaru cichlid
