this tank is truly awesome. cant wait to see the tank you get when this one starts to look small to you:drool:

DAMN Mike that stand is awesome, thought I was looking at a huge flat screen TV. :D Great Job, How tall is the stand? Your fish are geting huge! I may have to lure you and the family for a day's trip up my way for some help. lol Aren't you glad you kept the Armatus, he is a beast for sure. What happen to the huge knifefish?
By they way, how are you getting circulation along the the bottom of the tank to push dirt up to the filters, since the tank is so tall?
One day I will have a huge tank like that to display, one day!

Thanks everyone!

I just made custom DIY glass canopies x 4 using cut glass from lowes, 3m outdoor double sided tape and dead bolts. Total cost was around $40:headbang2 I originally made reinforced acrilic lids cost around $120 and they warped in about 4 months.

I am using 8 in round air disk diffuser x 3 (4th in my sump) powered by 2 whisper AP 300 to send debri up to the upper water column so it can be picked up by skimming....they work really well.

The Reef flo Hammer Head is pushin around 4k GPH after Head through 5 x 1in bulk heads..... creates good amount of water circulation.

The Mag drive 18 intake and return are plumbed through the bottom of the tank providing additional circulation on the bottom.

My stand is 32in high. The tank plus stand is 78in high! Need a ladder to feed the fish :WHOA:
