Im really looking into making a 600 gallon plywood/fiberglass tank exactly off of this.

I need to know how i can make a sump like that and how much the final cost will probably be. A lot of people on here have made them so i would love some feedback.

That monster tank belongs to someone on mfk!

yep greenterra right?

i'm into mine for around 2000$ but that is everything lights, pumps, media, heaters, finishing wood, trim, paint o and the tank. a lot has to do with poor planning and not always shopping around enough to get the best price.

Yeah how expensive is fiberglass?

Thats some thing you will have to price out depends on the brand and type you use and if you want to get locally or order it but it will probably have a haze mate charge on shipping

I have about 1400 in my 650 without filters or lights,i used steel, 3/4" acrylic, polypropylene and a liner just to be safe as opposed to fiberglass. 45 mil. Liners run about 100-200 dollars depending on your footprint. Probably cheaper than the fiberglass in the long run. Just start bringing wood home and worry about the rest when you get to it there are many different ways you can go with sealing it.

What would be the cheapest way to seal it?

Have a good read through the DIY tanks section before making up your mind on what material to use for sealing. It is hard to say what material is best for your usage as it all comes down to what you are comfortable working with.
