I just got a 600 gallon tank... 8 ft x 4 ft x 30 in... I should have it running in a month or 2 if everything goes as planned... I already have a tiger shovelnose, tigrinus shovelnose, silver aro, and a couple clown knifes that are going in it... I am thinking about getting either another tigrinus or jurunese as well along with 1 or 2 black aros... but I am not sure as to what would be a good mid water level fish that would do good with these as tank mates... i know putting aros together will be trial and error as long with the catfish but there should be plenty of room.. just wanted to see what other people would think would go good with these fish... here are some pics since i know people will ask for

Usually black aros will go good together and you already have a silver. You will probably be ok with them. As far as the cats go, Id be a little concerned with the tsn picking on the tig once it is bigger. Cats tend to get territorial. The knives will be a nice mid water fish I am a gar fan so I'd like to see a nice gar in the mix. Post pics when it is up and running

I sure would love to have that tank..

yea i had thought about some cichlas... but just wanted to know if there is anything else out there that would have the size to hold it's own against my other tank mates... and growth rate to not have to grow them forever before i can join them... i do have a 120 gallon for a grow out tank...
