Here's my situation...
I got a black rhom in our 55 that's leaving friday and then im turning the 55 into a loach tank. I was given a 3" CL a few days ago and i didnt want to put it in the 150 because it would take me hours to remove all the rock to catch it. The pond has been in the high 70s and low 80s for the last week and it was 82-84* so i figured id stick him in the pond until the P is out. Well i went to bed and woke up to find it rained and the air temp was 42*. I checked the pond and the temp is 62*.
I grabbed my python, hooked it up to the sink and drained the hot water heater into the pond. I also have 4 300W heaters on it.
should i:
-let the pond warm up slowly, then catchem out
-freak out and drain the pond and bag acclimate him to the tank
-figure its dead
reason i havent already drained the pond is i have finals today and really need to study
