Hi! I'm new here, and I'm planning on getting a 65 gallon aquarium. :):)
The tank specs are 120cm by 45cm by 45cm. I want some stocking suggestions for my aquarium.
I have kept 1 Silver Arowana and 3 Gold Severums in my 25 gallon, but I want to try something new.
Any suggestions are welcome. :D

That Silver Arowana canNOT live in a 25 for any of its life.
Mine is in a 150 and it canNOT live in the 150 for its life either. I am actually trying to sell it.

Plus you have 3 severums in there!
Buddy, go and buy a 300 gallon that way you can keep the Aro for life. Or sell the fish and do a small community

I agree about the arowana. I think you probably meant to type 125 gallon. Still too small for an Aro. But sounds like you might not have the fish anymore anyway.

As for the 65 gallon, what kind of setup interests you. Community with lots of smaller fish? Or maybe a single centerpiece fish with some smaller dithers. Or a pair of aggressive fish. Few different directions you could go. Give some input to what you want, and I'm sure lots of people will give suggestions.

Reactions: magpie
Half land half water setup with:

For animals: gray and green tree frogs ,green anole lizard pair, house geckos,
Chili rasboras, cherry barbs, white cloud minnows, kuhli loach, Showa swordtail trio and nerites snails.

Plants:airplants on corkbark, tropical mosses,water arum,African violet

I was actually liking discus a bit
PS- The arow was a juvenile. But I do agree with you guys :)

yeah you should try to narrow it down first. community or single-species tank? cichlids vs. oddballs? asian vs. african vs. western fish? i would almost certainly do a green terror or hemichromis setup with some large schoolers and bottom feeders.

I like community tanks, but I'm willing to do a single-species too. Also, I like oddballs more and asian and western fish.

Tank has dimensions of a standard 75 gallon. million directions you could go.
One idea- central american cichlid group: 6 Amatitlania nanoluteus, 8-10 swordtails, BN pleco

Another Idea: Single Istlanum or tetracanthus or grammodes cichlid. Maybe some Buenos aires tetras or similar (cichlid might kill them, might not)

Another idea: madtoms and darter tank with blue face shiners and sticklebacks, and a pair of orangespotted sunfish as centerpiece
