65 gallons

How many discus can you fit in a 65 gallon tank. How many can stay for life comfortably with 4-6 clown loaches with a school of about 75-100 neons or cardinal tetras.

P.S. I don't know how but I forgot, but while I was thinking of how to afford a bigger tank I remembered I had a 65 gallon tank in my shed. It needs to be cleaned because it was used as a reef tank by the previous owner.

i think your 65 would be fine with 5-6 adult discus, but then again, 75-100 tetras?! anway, as along as your water change sked is in check i think you will be fine.

you can disinfect your tank with bleach or some potassium permanganate and your old tank will be good to go.

I have 7 in a 65. Everybody is great, but I only have 2 BN as tank mates. My WC schedule is 3 50% WCs a week. I'd love to put more discus in and probably could... but I could NEVER forget or skip WCs. Oh, by 65 do you mean 36x18x23?

I think. I have to check the dimensions. It was a custom tank made by the owner of my lfs.
