650x170cm glass installation to concrete tank

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
Cool what did you use for the adhesive/ glass to concrete connection? What is the distance between the glass and concrete/ how thick is the sealant? Is the weight of the glass supported by the bottom of the tank?

Nice Job,

Translation-

today all of you mighty men will die. Please pray to your appropriate gods and make amends.

when you die for this righteous cause, your bodies will be preserved to be used to feed the fish in this tank.

now let’s all go lift this piece of glass.

Im really bothered by the sandals people are wearing while handling a huge pane of glass... epic but those sandals! Steel toed shoes?

Love its size. Going to be interesting build to the finish.

Now that’s truly /\/\onster.

There are very few members who have ever pulled off such a massive tank.

You are a true MFKer and an inspiration for the rest of us! Please continue sharing your build. I am bookmarking this thread. This is awesome.

Thanks

I've been watching your build on YouTube for weeks. It's a pity I don't understand Indonesian and no English subtitles. I self built a 100T tank too so I could see some of the issues you would be facing early but I guess each country has it's own way of doing things. I'm interested in how you will roof or keep the sunlight out.

Your bottom drains would suit air lifts to move 10 ~ 15,000 LPH well. Pumps would pulverise particulates too much.

Why do you have such big borders below and beside the viewing panel? Why not go deeper & wider? I'm glad you demolished the 8m tank. It had some terrible design flaws.

There are lots of wonderful big tanks being built in Indonesia, Thailand, Europe, etc could you recommend a better fish forum for big tanks?
