I finally set up my 65gallon tank in my office. It has a few live pants, plenty of drift wood and rocks for hiding..... and it's stocked with;
-3 neon tetras
-3 zebra danios
-1 Senegal bichir
-1blue gourami
-1angel fish
- 2 baby cichlids (not sure if I'm keeping them or not... I ended up with them by accident)

Any suggestions on adding to my tank?

What are you looking for in terms of stocking? Personality? Color? Movement? A certain water level activity?

I was going to say wayyyy more neons and danios but then you have a senegal bichir and he will probably eat them over time. The Angel might as well.

So my suggestion is to get a decent group of wide-bodied tetras for movement in the middle of the tank (avoid any more torpedo shaped fish). Something like Congo tetras or White tipped tetras. I really like the white-tipped ones, as they add color and are pigs at feeding time. And they hang out and display to each other all the time.

What are the dimensions on that tank? I have a 65 and it is tall with a 3-foot length but yours looks longer.

Also, what are your water parameters? It looks like your cichlids are african, and they typically like a higher pH, whereas your angel likes lower.

I know this might be a long shot, but I want a little bit of everything. I love fish with personality. Honestly my tank is a bit of a mess as far as stocking, mostly because I didn't plan on getting any of the fish. The angel was given to me by somebody who was going to flush it if I couldn't take it, the cichlids I saved from the filter system at petsmart (they were fry then), one of the danios had a broken jaw (and of course you can't just have one), the neons were again given to me by somebody who decided tanks weren't their thing.... and the bichir and gourami were also given to me by somebody who was moving and needed them gone ASAP.

So honestly my tank is seriously like the land of misfit fish, and am doing my best to accommodate them all. But I do believe the tank is 48 inches long. I'm going back and forth between rehoming the angel, I'm just in love with his personality... he is always at the front of the tank and will follow me back and forth when I'm walking around the office. But at the end of the day my absolute favorite (and long time dream fish) has been the bichir, so I'm hoping for a set up that's compatible with him.

Thank you for your suggestions, I'll look into those guys

Your bichir is going to grow up to 12 inches so will eat almost all of your fish and could be tempted into biting the angelfish long fons If you want to base the tank around a Senegal I would suggest a West African set up
Congo tetras
Butterfly fish
African bushfish
Upside down catfish
Kribensis /Thomasi dwarf cichlids as a tank which has a fish in all the layers all can be altered for fish similar
