Val’s grown in well in my 6ft. Might be able to add in the bigger catties now.

Got some decent stocking so far for the tank.
1 Neosilurus after
1 Senegal bichir
9 Melanotaenia rubrostriata
2 Melanotaenia goldei
2 Melanotaenia trifasciata Cato river
And my old paradise fish.
Gonna get some more stuff later down the track. Heading up to cairns in September so can catch some stuff up there. Keen for some archers and some more catfish.

Terrific looking tank! I love species tanks for fish...and for plants as well! 
Gotta admit, though, the title of the thread sucked me right in. I read it and immediately thought "Holy crap! This guy has something growing in his well, and it's 6 feet long! Only in Oz, lol. I gotta check this out!"
The reality isn't actually disappointing, but maybe a bit...anticlimactic?
