Hi guys. I have this tank running for a few month now. Im happy with the tank but the problem is the light is not strong enough. The light is built in with the lid already. Should I add a waterproof led light bar 112cm from ebay? Or Can i add a satellite current usa freshwater led 48” on the left corner above the glass bar. The water will never go above the glass bar due to the overflow. The glass bar is roughly about 2 inches above of the water. Do you think its safe for the light since its not waterproof like the ebay one. Im getting my Asian Arowana soon so I just want some good lighting for him. Thanks everyone

This is purely my own opinion, but considering Aro’s can be jumpers / splashers, i would probably choose the waterproof unit just to be safe...

Also, will you be adding a cover above the light unit itself, coz if you are, then you may also want to consider the humidity levels inside the tank and how that may or may not effect the electronics of the lights...

Yea. I might just go with a white waterproof led just in case something happened. Thanks

You could consider using a couple of those aro tanning lights. They come in different colors and available in 6 ft lengths.

Hi. Where can I get them online? Im in Canada so the only way I can buy is from ebay and amazon but cant find anything for 6ft.

Top tank 5ft submersible tanning light with uva/uvb rays in a 6ft tank. Height 2.5ft

Dual row of leds...

Now they even have 4 rows of led
