6ft trout

so im sitting here watching monster fish on discovery and there out in mongolia trying to catch a trout that can reach up to 6ft, theyre catching lots between 4-5ft, but im wondering if anyone has any of these in captivity. i belive there called tiemen (ty-men).

they get up to 200lbs and theyre fishing for them with flyrods

Oh I have heard of and seen these before. I dont think anyone has succesfully kept them.

it would make sense, on here theyre saying theyre migratotry and migrate as far a 60miles or more throughout their lifetime

The latin is Hucho taimen. Big fish, record is something like 7 feet and 100 kg. As for captivity, you'd need all the equipment for regular trout, like a big chiller and then add a huge aquarium.
