What should I be feeding a 6inch largemouth? I recently setup a ten gallon tank for it and it ate the ten goldfish that were in the tank. Just not sure if he should be eating primarily goldfish.

Alright. If this is a serious question, get that fish a bigger tank and a better diet, and check your water parameters (ammonia, nitrite, nitrate, pH) if you want your bass to have a chance at surviving in your care. I hope the best and want to help you help your fish.

On the other hand, if this is a troll's quest unfolding, shame on you.

A 6" LMB should not be in a ten gallon tank.

Food is the least of your concerns right now. He is producing more ammonia than that little tank can handle. If he just ate ten goldfish, don't feed him anything until you get your bigger tank set up. After that, a steady diet of gut-loaded crickets, home-bred feeders, earthworms and anything else healthy he will eat would be a good place to start. If he'll eat pellet food, that would be a great way to feed him. The debate rages over live vs. prepared food. I like a combination. My Oscar gets pellet foods 80% of the time and then crickets and worms for the rest of the time.

Edit: You'll want a minimum of 55 gallons to start him off, but he'll eventually need 120g+, with good filtration.

Stop feeding goldfish, eventually the bass will take worms, silversides and if it's hungry enough, pellets. You have to do frequent water changes until a larger tank is available.

feeders and grass shrimp works for my 3in baby bass he ate 6feeder fish and5grass shrimp as soon as i dumped them in the tank

plz tell me this is a joke thats sad man if you are going to keep him atleast go to walmart and buy a 55gal tank to hold him over if not let him go but as far as food goes try and stay away from goldfish if at all possible shrimp works great
