From my experience i had 3x senegals and 1 endlicheri with a bigger lapradei.. the sene + endli werea about 10-12 cm ( 4-5 inches ) and the lapra being 11 inches , the lapra sadly got 1x endli and 1x senegal.. the senegal he got only had one front fin tough. ( got it from the store like that didnt know untill i was home :c.. ) the other 2 senegals have grown alot since that , it was about 6 weeks ago i think ? and 1 of them is about 15 cm ( 6 inches now ) and probaly 1/3 bigger then it used to be already girth wise and the other one being about 13-14 cm but a bit smaller. They seem to be just fine i just had the incident when the lapra was a bit newer it was VERY underfeed when i got him and quickly got back to a healthier size after that .. so thats my experience atleast sadly i didnt have many options here in sweden bichirs are very very hard to come by unless you order them 6-8 cm ( 2.5-3.5 inches ) and the lapra was from germany and it said in the order 20-30 cm'' ( 8 -12 inches ) , so if you haven't , asked the store if they have more suppliers or check marketplaces near you etc , i checked all fish stores within 1 hour driving distance , 3x online stores my stores bought from and marketplaces for like 2-3 months before saying ''fk it ''
