6th Avenue Fish an Flowers in SF

This past weekend I took a trip to San Francisco to check out some fish store to hopefully pick up some new stock. I came across the 6th Avenue fish & flower shop. They sell flowers in the entrance way an all fish in the back. The store is pretty big an 2 stories. I'm really mixed on what I think of this store they have an amazing selection fish an they prices are as good as I've seen. But there tanks are way too small an very overstocked. Upstairs I found some really healthy looking 2" Roseline sharks at a steal of a price $7.50. So I wanted 5 of them. When I told the shop workers what I wanted. He handed me a net an 2 containers. I got to catch my own fish!!! Witch was really crazy an cool but How could you trust everyone that comes into your store to put there hands in your tanks. I've never heard of anyone doing that before. I ended up chasing the fish back an forth in the 40gal tank for almost 10mins try to catch these lil speedsters. They all survived the trip home an I looking forward to going back soon. Just thought I share my lil trip with y'all

Has anyone else ever been to 6th ave fish in SF? Or ever been allowed to catch their own fish?

Ive been to this place a few times and as much as it gets trashed on, it's not bad. Great prices, I went there about 2 weeks ago, got 2 clown fish, 1 copperband butterfly fish, 1 black clown fish, small yellow tang, 4 small geophagus altifrons, and 5 clown loaches and I didn't even spend over 130$. It is the kinda place you have to buy a bottle of ich treatment when you buy a fish there though, but still very worth it.

Yeah i wish i had a quarantine tank. Did you get to catch your own fish? I had to stop my self from buying more fish cause the prices were so good.

Yup, caught my own fish and yeah the prices are pretty awesome, I've been there probably about 5 times cause I live kinda by San Fran and its the best place to go if you don't mind having to treat them for ich
