hey all 6x2x2 owners, how many big cichlids you got in there? i recently saw a local ad in a paper it had a 6x2x2 with 5 big breeding butti's, 2 large oscar, large dovii, and a few large plecos???? maintenance must have been crazy! an fish cramped.......! in the pic they all looked over 12 inches and the dovii was at least 18"!

depends on what filter system you are using as to maintenance.
with a 6' long tank theres lots of room in there, but ideally you would want an extra foot of width space to be able to keep many fish. so 3' wide.
I can't imagine a "large" dovii getting along with a breeding group of 5 butti's though...
